Proud to be Indian at AV

The Feb session at AV was extra special. 

I took a story that I love - The mountain that loved a bird . 

Illustrated two ways by Stephen Aitken and by Eric Carle.

We sang the song " My name is...." from Karadi Rhymes and to great effect.

The art was in keeping with the rhyme and the India theme.

This was followed by a quirky art exercise that I had done once at home with my older one. A small kid had to lie down on the chart and have his/ her outline traced.

Then the group had to embellish and colour in India themes!!
